ASOBO is a social enterprise that provides e-mobility solutions on the water in emerging markets. The initial focus will be on offering remotely connected electric outboard engines to fishers on Lake Victoria on a pay-as-you-go basis. Through this approach their income will increase, the livelihoods of people depending on the lake improve, and harmful emissions and pollution of the lake’s ecosystem reduced.
