    Chris Aidun is a co-founder and Partner at Persistent. Chris has over 30 years of experience in venture capital, private equity and finance law. Prior to founding Persistent Energy, he was Managing Director of E+Co, a non-profit clean energy impact investor where he led a financial restructuring that returned significantly more than expected to E+Co creditors. Prior to E+Co, Chris was a senior private equity partner at the international law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Chris manages corporate structure, legal and tax matters for Persistent and its partner companies. Chris is a US trained lawyer with a JD from New York University School of Law and a BS in Economics from the University at Albany.

    Eva Maria Stolz

    Eva Maria Stolz

    Eva Stolz holds a Masters in International Management from Bocconi University in Milan and FGV in São Paulo. Before joining Persistent, she worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company, conducting due diligences for PE funds and advising clients on a range of topics, including strategy, performance improvement and organizational development. She gained first working experience on the African market during her time at a microcredit organization in Uganda, where she supported the launch of a micro venture capital arm

    Tobias Ruckstuhl is a Principal at Persistent. Tobias holds a Masters in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen as well as bachelors in business & economics. He previously worked as head of accounting, finance and logistics for a safari and conservation company in Central Africa as well as starting up his own entrepreneurial ventures. Before joining Persistent, he was a management consultant at Accenture in Switzerland, a global consulting company, specializing in digital and technology consulting.

    Manuela is a Venture Advisor at Persistent. Prior to joining the firm, she completed internships with Deutsche Bank Structured Commodity Trade Finance team and worked as a summer analyst for HSBC`s investment banking division. She gained first working experience on the African market during her time with DGP Advisory in Nairobi, Kenya. Manuela holds a master’s degree in International Finance from Nova SBE and a bachelor’s degree in Management and Business with a Finance Minor from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

    Jens Godat

    Jens Godat

    Jens is responsible for operations, organizational development and people strategy at Persistent. Jens previously worked at Google where he set up and led various operation teams. He worked on large scale established products such as AdWords, as well as start-up projects in emerging markets like Bebapay, a payment card for matatu taxis in Kenya. During his last three years at Google, Jens was an HR business partner, advising on organizational development and managing HR strategy across five European countries. Most recently, Jens was an HR and recruitment advisor to Persistent portfolio company Enable.digital. He holds a double-degree in political science from Freie Universität Berlin and Sciences Po Paris.

    Dirk Muench

    Dirk Muench is a Co-Founder of Persistent and over the last 8 years he has led many of the firm's initiatives. In addition to his work at Persistent, Dirk also serves as the Treasurer of GOGLA since 2019. Prior to Persistent, Dirk worked for pioneer impact investment firm E+CO and for 8 years in global capital markets with JPMorgan and DRKW in London and New York. Dirk is passionate about the power of entrepreneurship to make the world a better place. He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and studied climate science at Columbia University in New York.

    Tatiana Marty is responsible for HR & Operations at Persistent. Tatiana is currently studying Banking and Finance at ZHAW School of Management and Law in Switzerland. Before joining Persistent she was an HR & Operations Associate at SUSI Partners, a Swiss investment manager specialized in financing sustainable infrastructure. She is fluent in German, English and Russian.

    Jessica Heller is responsible for marketing and communications at Persistent. She holds a Masters in International Development from the University of Amsterdam. She has worked in both the non-profit and for-profit sector as a marketing and communications specialist focused on strategy and creative communications. For the past four years, she has worked in the financial inclusion sector, more specifically in impact investing.

    Rodrigo Weiss

    Rodrigo Weiss

    Rodrigo Weiss was a previous Partner at Persistent. He studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich. After starting his career at a nanotech startup, Weiss has since focused on renewable energy as an investor. He has worked in Latin America and throughout Europe. Most recently he managed the renewable energy investment practice for SUSI Partners in Switzerland. He joined Persistent after a short stint at responsAbility, where he headed direct debt investments in the renewables space.

Fabio holds a Masters in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen and the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad. He previously worked as auditor of asset management companies at Ernst & Young and as an alternative investment analyst at Deutsche Bank. Before joining Persistent, he was a Vice President at SUSI Partners, a Swiss investment manager specialized in financing sustainable infrastructure.
